The physical toll that cancer treatment takes on children and teens is obvious, what is not so noticeable is the emotional toll it takes. Wigs for Kids B.C. provides funding to support the overall well-being of these children. This could be by providing a human-hair wig for a child when their hair falls out, funding an outing to help them forget about treatment, or helping to relieve their family’s financial burden. The goal is to help boost the child’s confidence, allowing them to experience life with fun and dignity.
