Vintage Dick Tracy Comic Strip Button

The Dick Tracy franchise started as a comic strip that was created by Chester Gould in 1931 and first ran in the Detroit Mirror newspaper. Gould himself wrote and drew the strip unitl 1977. This button is from the 1950s and was likely part of a promotion run by one of the newspapers that had syndicated the comics.
