From the bowels of Alberta where the poet Rudyard Kipling proclaimed the land had “all hell for a basement” a group of women joined powers in 2008 – fired up for a collective passion – roller derby. It was that year Medicine Hat’s premiere all girl roller derby league – The Gas City Rollers – were born.
