Rudolph Valentino Button

October 7, 2011

Rudolph Valentino was a silent film star of the 1920s and one of the first pop icons. His death at the age of 31 in 1926 caused hysteria among his female fans, to whom he was known as the “Latin Lover”.

This button appears to be either a promotional item for his 1921 film The Sheik or something that was produced later to capitalize on the film’s success.
